This also applies to the medical and laboratory technology industry, where plastics play an important role. Our new Startup of the Month BIOVOX offers an innovative solution - sustainable plastics.
The specially produced climate-friendly plastics of our Startup of the Month from Darmstadt pass the highest quality and purity criteria and can thus be used in a wide variety of application contexts. In this way, considerable savings potential can be achieved in the healthcare industry alone, which has a CO2 footprint of 45 million tonnes per year!
BIOVOX relies on the use of renewable raw materials and an environmentally friendly manufacturing process to minimise CO2 emissions during production.
BIOVOX's sustainable technologies, which reduce the currently high environmental impact in particularly sensitive areas of application, convinced the jury in CEO Julian Lotz's pitch and they chose the Startup as the first Startup of the Month 2023!
