A close city partnership between Frankfurt and Lyon has already existed for 60 years. Under the umbrella of Frankfurt Forward and GRANDLYON la Métropole, the startup ecosystems of both cities are now to be more closely networked in the International Matchmaking from May 19th to 20th.
The International Matchmaking was launched in 2020 by Frankfurt Forward. The goal is to provide participants with authentic insights into the respective ecosystem of the partner country and to support them in scaling, networking and internationalization.
Five startups each from FrankfurtRhineMain and Lyon have the chance to exclusively participate in the virtual exchange program. Participants can expect numerous networking opportunities in addition to accelerator sessions, panel discussions and pitches. While some of the events, e.g. the 1:1 CEO/VC Lunch, are exclusively for the participating startups, the evening events also offer the public fresh impulses and innovative best practices. The program is open to all B2B startups with high digital value creation from FrankfurtRhineMain and Lyon. The startups must be 2-5 years old and already on the market. Interested parties can apply here until May 05th.
