Michael Müller is a member of the Executive Board and Labor Director of Fraport AG since October 2012. He is responsible for ground handling services, personnel services, internal auditing and central purchasing and construction contracting.
After completing his studies in economics, Mr. Müller joined the former airport operating company FAG in 1984. He first worked in the "Central Office Labor Director" and from 1993 was responsible for various managerial functions in the personnel area. In 1997, the graduate economist was appointed head of the personnel services division (personnel manager for the company as a whole). In 2009, he took over the function of Head of Ground Services at Fraport AG.
Since 1999 Mr. Müller has been active for the airport foundation "Pro Region", a foundation for the promotion of education and training in the region - first as chairman of the foundation board and since October 2012 as chairman of the foundation advisory board. Mr. Müller is alternating Chairman of the State Committee for Vocational Education and Training and has been an honorary judge at the State Labour Court in Frankfurt since 2007.
